Trump: Hope to Release All Epstein Case Related Documents
BlockBeats News, August 2nd, Trump said he "hopes to disclose all documents related to the Epstein case," but does not want anyone to be harmed or implicated as a result. Trump also said that if anyone holding the documents really has any information related to him, it should have been made public before the presidential election.
BlockBeats previously reported that on July 29th, U.S. President Trump said he had "never had the privilege" to visit Jeffrey Epstein's island. Trump said he rejected Epstein's invitation and considered it a wise decision. Previously, Trump has repeatedly distanced himself from Epstein.
On July 24th, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi informed Trump in May that there are many individuals involved in the Epstein case, including his name, in the Epstein files. The White House made contradictory responses after the report was released: initially issuing a statement calling it "fake news," but a White House official later told Reuters that the government did not deny Trump's name appearing in some of the documents, pointing out that Trump's name had long been included in a batch of materials compiled by Bondi in February for conservative influencers.
Trump was friends with Epstein from the 1990s to the early 21st century, with Trump's name appearing multiple times in the flight logs of Epstein's private plane in the 1990s. The names of Trump and several of his family members also appear in Epstein's contact book, alongside hundreds of others.
