Tether Discloses Partial Investment Portfolio: Has Invested in Over 120 Companies, with a Focus on Bitcoin, Payment, and Other Sectors
BlockBeats News, July 23rd, Tether's CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that Tether has today announced some of its investment/venture capital portfolio. Overall, Tether has invested in over 120 companies, and this number is expected to grow significantly in the coming months and years. The invested companies include Juventus, Bitdeer, Crystal Intelligence, Rumble, Shiga Digital, and others.
These investments all come from Tether's own profits (projected to be $13.7 billion by 2024) and do not involve the reserve assets of USDT (and other stablecoins), falling under Tether's investment department. The focus is on key areas such as payment infrastructure, renewable energy, Bitcoin, agriculture, artificial intelligence, and tokenization.
