German Chancellor: EU-US tariff negotiations enter final stage
Odaily News German Chancellor Merz said in Berlin on the 18th that the German economy has reversed the recession and is moving towards recovery. He also said that the tariff negotiations between the EU and the United States have entered the final stage. The two sides are still discussing whether to adopt differentiated policies for specific industries.
He supports the European Commissions efforts to reach an agreement, saying, The lower the tariffs, the more beneficial it is for both sides, and tariffs will ultimately hurt everyone.
