BlockBeats News, July 24th, according to CNBC reports, European investment app Lightyear has completed a $23 million financing round, led by NordicNinja, with participation from Markus Villig, co-founder of the unicorn Bolt, and other Estonian tech entrepreneurs.
This startup aims to become the "European version of Robinhood" and enter the commission-free trading market. In addition to the new funding, Lightyear will also launch a brand new artificial intelligence feature. Furthermore, Lightyear plans to release its own cryptocurrency product within two months, with a focus on providing an investment experience that is "more tilted towards a long-term perspective."
